Global Commerce & Services employs a Quality Assurance Plan review process that contributes to periodic executive review and evaluation of the overall project performance to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards. Global Commerce's Quality Assurance Plan will evaluate, identify, and recommend adjustments to the activities or tasks (and associated resources) that must be performed in the project to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards.

In support of this approach Global Commerce will implement Quality Assurance, based on the complexity and need of each task as part of the overall work of the project.

Seaport NxG is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corp, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ Seaport NxG IDIQ multiple award contract holders. The Seaport NxG portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the Seaport NxG platform. Since nearly 85% of its contract–holders are small businesses, the Seaport NxG approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the nation’s engine of job growth.
